The Hang Up App allows you to terminate a call within your dial plan with a specific hang-up reason.
This can be useful for controlling how the caller’s device or provider interprets the end of the call β€” for example, whether it was busy, unanswered, or unavailable.

βš™οΈ Available Hang Up Reasons

  • βœ… Normal clearing ( 487 Request Terminated ) – Call ended normally.

  • πŸ“ž User busy ( 486 Busy Here ) – The called party is currently busy.

  • ⏳ No user response ( 480 Temporarily Unavailable ) – The called party did not respond.

  • πŸ”• No answer ( 408 Request Timeout ) – The call rang but was not answered.

  • 🚫 Subscriber absent (480 Temporarily Unavailable ) – The called party is unavailable.

  • βš™οΈ Normal unspecified ( 480 / 487 / 603 (context-dependent) – Default, generic call termination.

🧩 Default Behavior

By default, the Hang Up App uses Normal unspecified.
When creating or editing a dial plan, you’ll be prompted to confirm this default setting or manually choose a different hang-up reason if needed.
